One of the most important skills we can ever learn is how to take care of ourselves so that we can deal with the stresses and strains that life presents us without adverse repercussions to our health and well-being.
Anna has been teaching Mindfulness skills to pupils in Years 11, 12 and 13 in schools in Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire.
"What I offer the pupils is a little 'window of quietness' to support all they are being asked to achieve. I invite them to be aware of their posture and breathing, and teach them simple relaxation techniques, which is one of the keys to helping them grow up in a balanced and well-rounded way. This could help them in all aspects of life - concentration, emotional and physical balance and self-confidence."
Anna has trained as a Dru Yoga teacher (www.druworldwide.com) and will be starting classes in the Spring of 2015. She has also completed her MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) training and will incorporate this practice into her work.
She offers personalised one-to-one yoga tuition.
Each session costs £35 and is offered in both English and Welsh.
Anna is also able to offer bespoke group sessions.
Each group session is individually costed to the request.
